Permits/Licenses (Building/Permits)
· Moving Permits Must be acquired for any move in or out of the Borough of North Catasauqua Can be obtained at the Borough office at the cost of $1.00
· Garage Sale Permits Must be purchased prior to garage sale at the Borough office The cost is $5.00/day
· Building Permits ‘ Must be obtained for any new construction or repair, addition, or demolition of current property ‘ Examples of alterations needing permits may include (but are not limited to) swimming pools, fences, sheds, decks, patios, roof repairs, etc. ‘ Plumbing, Electrical, Curbing/Sidewalk, and Business Use permits are also required. ‘ Forms are available at the Borough office or can be downloaded below. After being completed, they must be turned in to the Borough office for review and issuance of permit. ‘ Fee Schedule (all prices are rounded off to the nearest dollar amount)
2006 BUILDING PERMIT FEE SCHEDULE
An Administration Fee of $30.00 must be added to the following building permit fees. RESIDENTIAL1.Single Family Dwelling (including electric, pluming &HVAC) up to 4,500 Sq.ft. $600.00 $10 for each additional 100 square feet.
2.Addition to 1,000 square feet (excluding electric, pluming & HVAC). $150.00 $10 for each additional 500 square feet.
3.Renovation- OR- Alternation to 200 square feet (excluding electric, pluming, HVAC). $75.00 $10 for each additional 500 square feet.
4.Accessory Structure OVER 1,000 square feet (excluding electric, pluming, HVAC). $150.00 $10 for each additional 500 square feet.
(NO BUILDING PERMIT REQUIRED FOR ACCESSORY STRUCTURES LESS THAN 1,000 SQUARE FEET) 5.Manufactured Housing Mobile or with Axle Capabilities (including electric). $175.00 6.Industrialized Housing Modular (including electric). $400.00 7.Deck (excluding electric). $150.00 8.Roof. $50.00 9.Demolition. $100.00 10.Fence. $75.00 11.Above-ground Pool (including electric). $125.00 12.
