CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION 2007 

The Borough of North Catasauqua was incorporated on June 11, 1907.

Next year the borough will celebrate the 100th Anniversary of its incorporation.   A Centennial Celebration has been planned throughout 2007 to celebrate this milestone.

The North Catasauqua Centennial Committee invites you to mark your calendar and join us in the festivities planned so far for next year!

Sunday, MAY 20, 2007 -  OPENING CEREMONY

Opening ceremony of the Centennial Celebration at North Catasauqua Park.  Borough open house.  Horse drawn rides to the various borough buildings open for display along with

demonstrations by the various departments.  Games , food, and music at the park.

Monday, MAY 28, 2007 - PICNIC IN THE PARK

Celebrate Memorial Day by attending the Memorial Day service at the North Catasauqua Memorial.  Afterwards, enjoy a day in North Catasauqua Park with a family picnic and a band concert.

CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION GOLF  TOURNAMENT at  Willowbrook Golf Course

Thursday, JUNE 14 -  Sunday, JUNE 17, 2007 -

 CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION  CARNIVAL

Join us at North Catasauqua Park for carnival rides, food, games, and fun.  Live music each night.

SATURDAY, JUNE 16, 2007  -  CENTENNIAL FIREWORKS DISPLAY

The borough will have a special Centennial Celebration fireworks display over Willowbrook Golf course;  the first such display ever in the borough.

JUNE -  AUGUST, 2007  -  FAMILY FUN NIGHTS  AT THE PARK

Special events  for the whole community to share in at North Catasauqua Park, on select nights.

SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 16, 2007 -

CENTENNIAL CELEBRATION PARADE & BEST OF NORTH CATASAUQUA EVENT

Start the day off with the North Catasauqua Centennial Celebration parade.

Afterwards, join in the fun at  North Catasauqua Park as local businesses and organizations will be showcased along with a scarecrow contest, food, music,  games, and a COOK OFF Contest.

SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 25, 2007 -  TREE LIGHTING AT THE PARK

Join us at North Catasauqua Park for the borough tree lighting, Christmas carols and refreshments.  Santa Claus will be escorted to the park in a special mini parade.  Photos with Santa.

DECEMBER, 2007 -  CHRISTMAS IN NORTH CATASAUQUA

Home decorating contest  -  trolley rides around the borough to view  borough  Christmas lights and contestants.  Christmas concerts at borough hall.
